Although we’re probably all skipping through countless adds today -whether on TV, magazines or on the web- browsing vintage ads can be a true joy. They give us a glimpse of days gone by. While we now covet these little mechanical machines for their vintage looks and charm, they were once state of the art – as reflected in their ads.
Besides their retro-charm, we think it’s also interesting to see the change in subject.. As witnessed by the first pic, the Speedmaster was originally designed for gentleman racers.. Drivers.. But this changed the very second Omega learned of their involvement in the space race..
