9 June 2017 / Omega

OMEGA’s famous chronograph takes a 60 year journey from Earth to the lunar surface at a special “Lost in Space” event in Mexico

Clients and friends of the brand enjoyed the opportunity to explore the Speedmaster’s astonishing legacy at a unique exhibition in Mexico, which traced the journey of the iconic watch from the Earth to the Moon during the past 60 years.

The event took place at Torre Virreyes, a modern building with a unique shape and structural design that appears to defy gravity.

Key models in the Speedmaster’s long and distinguished history were on display, as well as the latest 2017 collection. Special lighting, music and space-inspired cocktails created an out-of-this-world sensory experience, so guests would feel truly “Lost in Space”.

The Speedmaster was the first watch worn on the moon and remains the only watch qualified by NASA for all manned space missions.
