Our friend H mailed us a picture of his most recent acquisition: a Omega Speedmaster Mark II 145.014 with stunning patina and a case in great condition. Yes, we know – the glass is not fitted properly! (the tachymeter on these in printed on the inside of the glass.)
As can be read in our Handwound Chronicles, the Speedmaster Mark II was the first major spin-off in the Speedmaster-range, with a case hugely different from the regular (Mark I) Speedmaster Professional and very typical for the Omega design in the late sixties and seventies.
Thanks for sharing!
